An Amsterdam pole, also called Amsterdammertje, is a pole on a sidewalk that serves to prevent unwanted parking and to clearly separate the lane and sidewalk.
That is not really necessary in my garden, so the pole has a more decorative function. Although the originally painted brown sheet steel pole can be filled in more artfully. For this reason I took my Molotow markers and painted the Amsterdam pole with some graffiti.
The entire text is Red Eye Graffiti, with two red-eyed tree frogs as extra illustrations. This frog has long been included in the tree frog family, which is why the further drawings on the pole are trees with graceful flowers. The text Red Eye Graffiti also stands for a night-long streak, as you sometimes do when doing some Graffiti painting(s), which can give you red eyes. A great piece of work, if I may say so myself.
